About
I am an Indigenous Artist creating portraits of native Australian birds, animals, marine life and flora. I try to showcase the native Australian flora and fauna in their true state through the use of Natural History Illustration, highlighting each to depict the personality and nature of each bird, animal and marine life creature, incorporating Indigenous art practices, including bright colours and dots. In juxtaposition of the portraits of fauna, I allow the beauty of Australian fauna to speak for itself with a white background in pure botanical illustration form.
I have been painting since I was 12 years old, slowly discovering my love for all things native Australian, I have developed my skill throughout the years, over time allowing each creature to create their own personality throughout the painting process, and then creating a background for each through the use of my Indigenous heritage.
